Employment Verification: All current and previous employment will be verified including employment that is reported on the application and on the credit file, if necessary.

Self-employed applicants will be verified through the applicable state Corporation Commissions or through the appropriate licensing board.

Degree verification can be done through existing channels to higher education establishments.




CREDIT BACKGROUND CHECKS

Credit history can be obtained to provide the following: Applicant's current and previous addresses, social security number, current and previous employers, retail credit lines and public records such as collections or judgments.

Through a special credit inquiry, the social security number can be checked for validity.



CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS

Criminal history will be checked on all applicants in any state the applicant has lived.
